Back to competitive action at HKA

Hastings Kickboxing Academy (HKA) hosted it’s first day show on Saturday July 24th at its new premises on Castleham Industrial Estate.

Back to back action saw 28 bouts displaying a mixture of Kickboxing, K1 and Muay Thai. The event was attended by fighters representing clubs from eight martial arts organisations located throughout the South East, for many this was their first competition in 18 months.

HKA had nine fighters and for most of them this was their first competition and they displayed some fantastic skill and ringcraft.

Carl Denne HKA’s Chief Instructor said: “I was extremely proud of all my fighters. We had a good mix of battles, some wins, some losses and a few draws. Thank you to all the fighters, spectators, family and friends who came to support their teams, an absolutely amazing day”

HKA will be holding it’s next day show on November 13th.
