Hastings Kickboxing Academy – giving a little guidance

Hastings Kickboxing Academy has been spreading its message to new audiences recently bringing the sport to the members of the 13th St Leonard’s Guides group.

Chief Instructor Carl Denne and is team were invited in to deliver an hour long kickboxing and self defence seminar.

Carl says: “They were a fantastic group of enthusiastic young ladies and we look forward to coming back after the Summer holidays.

“Our main aims were to teach the girls some kickboxing but we also wanted to leave them inspired and we wanted them to have fun.

“From the get go, the engagement from the group was incredible and they put in immense amounts of effort. We had two of our members at Guides and they were great role models for the other girls and they represented us very well.

“When we travel to different groups or schools, all we ask is that you give it one go, just once.

“We encourage everyone, even if they are not a “kick boxer” to try their best and get involved as much as possible,” says Carl

Hastings kickboxing Academy operates as a full time gym with over 20 classes a week! The club currently works with five schools in addition to many community groups, now including the 13th St Leonard’s Guides.
