Hastings Kickboxing Academy – the future’s bright

Chief instructor at Hastings Kickboxing Academy, Carl Denne is looking forward to the next few years as he watches his students grow and develop.

“We really are starting to get some amazing young talent in the gym and really looking forward to the next few years as they develop and expand theirs skills as kickboxers,” says Carl.

Last weekend Carl put his students through a rigorous grading and was delighted to see 55 of them pass their respective grades. Thos who were successful are listed below.

Chief Instructor Carl Denne says: “The purple and blue grades have to endure a four hour assessment of non-stop workouts, drills, pad sessions, sparring and combat work, they are really put through their paces and at the end are completely shattered, knowing if they pass they have really earned it.

“HKA has been growing for years now and for me its great to see martial arts and kickboxing becoming a major part in so many people’s lives. I’m incredibly thankful to have so many positive, strong, friendly, skilled and like-minded people around me”
