Goals galore as Chopbacks score emphatic win
Parkfield 3
South Coast Athletico 7
Goals galore yesterday as the Chopbacks finally played their fixture against Parkfield at the Eastbourne Sports Park.

The Chopbacks nearly took an early lead but poor communication between Connor Easton and Jack Bloomfield meant the chance went begging.
It wasn’t long after though before Easton put South Coast in front, a little body swerve sent the defender the wrong way to open the gap for the shot.
Action shots from the Chopbacks win over Parkfield.
Ryan Wright put the Chopbacks two up with a neatly taken finish before a long ball from keeper Ben Tate put Easton through to lob the keeper making it 3-0
Parkfield pulled one back close to half time to put a damper on a good first half.
The second half started much like the first half did with South Coast taking command and debutant Mike Hawley bagged goal number four for the Chopbacks.
A short while later Hawley was on the score sheet again with an exceptional strike before he rounded off a good performance with a penalty completing his hattrick.
Parkfield offered a bit of resistance by clawing back two goals towards the end after Dayle McGurk left the field but Easton and Bloomfield combined to bag number seven and gave South Coast an emphatic win.
A solid performance for the most part and hopefully a sign of better things to come next week.
