To see ourselves as others see us…

We have an award winning pier, award winning beaches and last week we heard that we have award winning parks too.

But I didn’t know until today that once-upon-a-time Hastings was cursed. It was said that if you ever stayed here, you would never leave.

That’s just one thing I found out reading a piece published last week in the Glasgow based Herald newspaper. Writer Ann Fotheringham recounts a visit with her two sons this summer and give her family’s unique perspective on Hastings from its base in a cottage in Rock-a-Nore.
