Quebec Road arson attack

Police are investigating an arson attack in St Leonards believed to be a part of a series of targeted incidents.

Officers were called to Quebec Road on Sunday July 25th around 10pm following reports of a black Mercedes car having been set on fire.


The owner of the vehicle also had windows smashed at their home around the same time and again at 2.55am the on Tuesday July 27th.

Police are appealing for information from anyone who may have seen suspicious vehicles or activity in or around Quebec Road around this time. Officers are particularly keen to speak to a woman of Marline Road who may have seen petrol cannisters being loaded or unloaded from a vehicle.

Police ask anyone who can help with the investigation or has relevant CCTV or dash-cam footage to report online or by contacting 101, quoting serial 1531 of 25/07.
