Fight outside London Trader – one man arrested

Police are appealing for witnesses to a fight in Hastings Old Town.

Around 11.35pm on Saturday (April 24th), officers were called to East Beach Street, outside the London Trader pub, to reports of a fight involving up to six men.

Police attended and found one man with a serious wound to his hand and two other men who had suffered facial injuries.

A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent. He was interviewed and has been released on conditional bail while enquiries continue.

Officers investigating the matter would like to speak to anyone who saw what happened or who may have captured any relevant footage on a mobile phone, CCTV or dash cam.
