Police appeal for witnesses as boy is assaulted in playground

Police are appealing for witnesses after a boy was assaulted in a Hastings playground.

The 13-year-old victim was in the West Hill play area around 4.50pm on Sunday, March 28th when he became involved in a brief discussion with a group of children.

As he went to leave, he was assaulted and suffered minor injuries to his face and head.

Officers investigating the matter are keen to speak to anyone who was in the park at the time and who saw what happened.
