Another attack in Hastings town centre – can you help the police?

There’s been another attack in Hastings and police are once again appealing for witnesses.

A man has been arrested after an incident in the town centre in which a woman sustained facial injuries – did you see what happened?

Between 9.30pm and 9.45pm on Thursday June 25th, the 28-year old woman was assaulted in Queens Road, near the money shop and Erol’s kebab shop.

A man aged 38 was arrested on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm, and after being interviewed was released on police bail until July 23rd while enquiries continue.

Detective Constable Jay Fair says: “If you witnessed this incident or saw anything else that would help our investigation around this time in the area, please contact us, either online by calling 101 quoting serial 1728 of 25/06.”

The two people involved are known to each other.
