Fantastic start to the season for Charter Standard Community Club Sedlescombe Rangers
Sedlescombe Rangers Football Club are currently enjoying a fantastic start to the season across many of its age groups, with the senior first team remaining unbeaten in the East Sussex Football League (ESFL) Premier Division this season.

The side fell to a narrow defeat last week against Battle Baptists in the Sussex Intermediate Cup, but still remain in fine form in the league competition as well as in the two cup competitions it currently holds after lifting the ESFL Challenge Cup and Hastings FA Intermediate cup last term.
The reserve team and third team, the youth development side, also continue to flourish as the club look to move towards the national league system structure.
Away from the adult male teams, the youth teams have also experienced very positive starts to the season, no more so than the U10 Pinks, the club’s dedicated all girls team (see main picture). The side has, this season, made the move to the Sussex County Womens and Girls Football League having played in the Rother League since the team’s inception.
Some fantastic results and performances for the Pinks are brilliant to see, as Sedlescombe hold the only all girls team playing in an all-female league within a 30-mile radius!
Rangers U18s have also started their campaign well currently sitting second in the Crowborough League U18b division, with a game in hand over the current league leaders which if won would see the team go top of the division.
At the younger end of the club’s youth teams, the U7s are thoroughly enjoying their first taste of league football, with the club already looking at starting a new U6 team who will become next seasons U7s. This constant flow of youth players coming through club has paid dividends at the top, with the first team regularly fielding players who have graduated form club’s youth system.
