Ore library – the hard work starts here
The men and women who have worked all summer to secure the reopening of Ore Library are ready for the next stage of their journey and acknowledge that the real work starts now.
With the news on Tuesday that East Sussex County Council is willing to grant a lease to Ore Community Library Group it’s full speed ahead to get the facility reopened. But co-chair of the group Juliet Harris warned today that while they would love to have the library reopened by Christmas a lot depends on how quickly they can tie up the detail of the lease with the council.
Ms Harris says she does not want to make promises the group cannot deliver saying there have already been too many disappointments over the library’s future.
