DEADLINE EXTENDED Counting down 31 DAYS and £93,934 to go…

Friends of Hastings Pier have extended the deadline for its Crowdfunding campaign.

The fund raising effort was due to finish on Friday at 9pm, however it has been extended to June 30. Under the rues of Crowdfunder if a campaign does not reach its target by the deadline it has set the money collected is returned to the donors. The extension gives campaigners time to attract more small scale sponsorship from individuals and go after some larger deals, similar to the ones it concluded recently with Igloo Regeneration.

So now there are 31 days to raise the final £94,000 to keep the dream alive of retaining Hastings Pier in community control.

Here are stories we published earlier in the month that set out what Friends of Hastings Pier is trying to achieve.
