Marline Road knife attack – police search is on

Police are searching for James Maloney, a 29-year-old St Leonards man who they want to interview about a knife attack on a teenage boy.

The 17-year-old boy sustained several stab wounds to his lower legs when he was attacked at an address in Marline Road, St Leonards, on the late afternoon of Monday March 22nd.

Maloney is described as white, 6′, and slim, with brown hair and blue eyes. He frequents the Hastings and St Leonards areas.

Anyone who sees Maloney is asked not to approach him but to call 999 right away, quoting serial 1125 of 22/03.

A 28-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm, and drugs offences, and is currently on police bail until 21 June while enquiries continue.
