Man charged with murder in St Leonards – police name victim…

A man has been charged in connection with a murder in St Leonards.

Police discovered the body of a man inside a property in Magdalen Road on Thursday (April 8th). He has since been identified as 51-year-old Darren Alderton, from St Leonards.

Officers launched a murder investigation and arrested a man in North London on Monday evening (April 12th) in connection with the death.

On Wednesday (April 14th) Seyed Iman Tabarhosseini, 37, unemployed, of no fixed address, was charged with murder. He has been remanded in custody to appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court later in the day.

Detective Chief Inspector Emma Vickers said: “This continues to be a fast-moving investigation and we would like to thank the public for their assistance with this matter. 

“We continue to appeal to anyone who thinks they might have information to assist our investigation, to come forward to us.
