Billy is victorious after three hard fought rounds

There was another win for Hastings Kickboxing Academy’s Billy Joe Fitzgerald when he fought Sam Chand, a talented – and tall – Taekwondo world champion at the Victory Kickboxing Series last month.

Sam didn’t make it easy with a long front leg making it hard for Billy to find his range. But throughout the fight, Billy managed to get closer, landing some heavy shots of his own. Not quite enough to force a count but enough to get Sam onto the back foot.

After three tough rounds and another tough battle the referee raised Billy’s arm high.
