Parker’s players dominant at inter-school tournament

On Friday Ark William Parker’s Year 9 basketball team recorded decisive victories when they played other local schools in a three-way basketball tournament.

The tournament started with Parker versus Hastings, always an interesting fixture being a local derby. Parker won 35-0 and the score line reflects the outstanding performances from Parker’s Year 9 team.

Parker then went on to beat Robertsbridge 23-10 in another brilliant team performance to win the overall tournament in style.

Coach Roberto Martellini said afterwards: “All of our year 9 students were fantastic and each student contributed in scoring points for the team. Some stand out performers were Tyler and Zac, however all students worked tirelessly in both games and it was a real team effort that got us the overall win!”
